Carolyn Casey Figueroa is an arts administrator, project manager, and creative producer working at the intersection of artists, institutions, and community engagement. She is the founder of Artists in Pursuit, an independent arts project support studio and video podcast platform centered on curiosity, connection, and the creative process.

Professionally, Carolyn has supported and managed complex arts and cultural projects across public art, studio practice, and community-based initiatives for nearly 15 years. Her work often involves coordinating across artists, organizations, and public stakeholders, guiding creative projects through planning, production, and long-term sustainability. She works at the intersection of artist practice management, community engagement, and strategic execution — guided by a deep commitment to artist advocacy, community collaboration, and intentional consideration.

Artists in Pursuit, created in 2023, builds on this foundation as a platform that honors what often goes unseen: the negotiations, relationships, labor, and shared responsibility that make creative work sustainable. It is rooted in the belief that when artists and communities are treated with consideration, culture thrives. Through reflective filmed conversations, stories, and behind-the-scenes reflection the project explores creativity, leadership, and personal growth as lived experiences.

Carolyn’s perspective is deeply shaped by her lived proximity to creative practice as a spouse, family member, and business partner to a working visual artist.
